Francelo Lazaro Charitable Foundation (FLCF) 2nd Annual Golf Tournament Raises $14+K for medical research and providing educational support through youth scholarships.

On Monday, September 23rd, 2024, the FLCF held its second annual golf tournament at LeBaron Country Club in Lakeville, MA. The golf tournament raised funds to support educational scholarships and medical research and helped raise more than $14,000 this year. 

With 112 golfers participating, in addition to several volunteers, the day began with a shotgun start of the scramble format at 9AM. The players were treated to beautiful weather! The 2024 FLCF winning foursome, with a score of 15 under of Jonathan Velozo, Justin Cohen, Mike Taveira, and Chris Merolla, was sponsored by Ockers Technologies.  Michael Dolan, Justin Carvalho, Jeremy Provost, and Jared Walsh made up the second-place team with a score of 12 under.  The Women’s Longest Drive contest winner on Hole #14 was Olive White; The Men’s Longest Drive winner on Hole #14 was Ryan Moore. The Closest to the Pin winner was Robbie Soares on hole #8 knocking it 1’8” from the pin, of course, the team made the putt for a birdie.

The event concluded with a gathering inside LeBaron Country Clubhouse, where players bid on impressive silent auction and raffle items while enjoying a full buffet.
